Wow, that title could mean so many things! However, for this post I am referring to Killian getting into some dance classes. I have taught her some of my AMAZING moves, but she also picked up Sean not so amazing moves. She loves to dance and wear her tap shoes. She was cursed with her daddy's chubby feet so her poor feet are smashed into the shoes. I will have to find chubby feet tap shoes for her. Killian will dance wherever we are if she hears the music. She also likes to make those around her dance, even if we don't know them. Killian likes to dance like Angelina Ballerina too. She has lots of tutus and leotards. I have to say she cracks me up in her leotards, those were not made for chubby (but adorable) girls.
Killian and I have recently became big fans of Glee. She will watch it with me while Sean is working late. We sing and dance together with the cast. I also have the all the soundtracks, just a perk of the job! We listen to the Glee music in the car. Killian tells me everyday to play her favorite song which happens to be Gold Digger. It so funny listening to her sing along. She will say "get down Sammy, go ahead get down" and "get down Kiki, go ahead get down" and when I am at a stop light and can do a dance she will sing it for me!
She is a never ending source of joy and laughter. Even if she has decided to participate in the TERRIBLE TWOS!!!!

Let's Go Fly a Kite
After many, many, many days of rain the nice warm weather has finally started. Killain has been patiently waiting to play outside with her swing set and sandbox. This last week she has been asking for a kite. In the morning while Sean and I are getting ready for work Killian gets to watch Special Agent Oso and last week his special assignment was to help a little girl fly a kite. So mom caved in a bought her a SpongeBob Squarepants kite (for a whopping $1.99). Killian loves her kite!

Getting ready!

Getting ready!
At this point Killian decided she wanted to go swimming next door!

It's Raining, It's Pouring
Yes it is Spring time in the Midwest so that means it is rainy season. Sean and I were lucky enough to discover that the previous tenants had not cleaned the gutters so when we had a huge rain storm our basement got water. Luckily, (I guess) it was just in my craft room. All of Killian's toys were safe, the new carpet and new walls Sean put up were safe. We had to pull up the carpet in my room and let it air out. Sean also took care of the gutters so this would not happen again- because of the gutters anyways. We live on a cul-de-sac now and our house is the lucky house with the sewer drainage. We watched as the water kept getting higher and higher. It got to the point that our sidewalk disappeared and when I had to pull into the driveway we were basically floating. Killian loved all the rain. She thinks it is so much fun when mommy splashes water all over the car. And I promise I will no longer aim for the big puddles or try to splash the high school kids walking home.
This is the view from our front door. There should be a sidewalk where the street sign is.
On a much happier note Killian is such a goofball. She loves to play with the empty paper towel rolls. I think she has a hidden stash of them in her room.
Bye Bye giant driveway curb!
