A Visit with Good Friends

This last weekend we went up to visit our friends, John and Jennifer and their two girls Arista and Aislyn. We had planned to try camping out, but since it was raining we had to switch our plans. There is a wonderful museum in Rockford that we took the girls to. There was so many different things for all 3 girls to do and keep them occupied. I think the adults had just as much fun too!

I had to include a picture of the outdoor structure. The Rock River Discovery Park was so cool. It is a  traditional playground with a scientific twist, features Sympathetic and Pendulum Swings, Friction Slides, a cave, Whisper Dishes, an Echo Tube, a Kinetic ball maze and much more all set within a maze of walkways and bridges. I know for sure the adults had a blast, and I have informed Sean that I want this in my backyard!

We always have such a good time with the Haigs. We wish we all lived much closer so we can do this more often.
