Last Saturday Killian ran in her first race. It was a 1/4 mile St. Patrick's Tot Trot. Sean was lucky enough to get to run with her. She was very excited and was practicing her running all week. I was a little nervous about it being a 1/4 mile, but figured Sean could get her to do it.
When we arrived at the race it was freezing! The race was in downtown Davenport which is just a couple blocks away from the Mississippi River, which means the wind was horrible. Of course this did not phase Killian. She was so excited!

A quick video of the start of the race. I will just say I thought I had to run/speed walk a block down to the finish line and I discovered Jameson is not a fan of me moving quickly!
After the race we went back to my mom's house for breakfast and to warm up for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. Sadly, there are no pictures because Killian and I were huddled under blankets for the entire parade! Killian of course had a wonderful day and we eventually warmed up. I also plan on signing her (and Sean) up for lots more races!
What is the world coming to? Another Graff running in an organized race? I think Erin starting a running craze, we all like to think that Graff's running is a running joke, but it looks like we are serious athletes! Way to go Killian and Sean!! Wop-wop
