I was lucky enough to have my mom, stepdad and my grandpa Joe join Jameson and I for the show. Sean unfortunately could not get off from work. We made sure to get there early to get a good seat. As show time came closer I started to get really nervous for Killian. What if she forgets the words? What if she gets shy with all the people? What if she sings like she does at home and they put her right in front of the microphone? Finally, the 16 kids started creeping into the church. They were all quietly waving and saying hi. Until Killian saw us! Immediately shouts of Hi Papa Joe, Oh Papa Jim, Hi Gagoo (my mom), Jameson Hi Buddy and she even said hi to me too. Everyone was laughing as she walked up the stage waving to everyone in the room. She then continued to wave and say hi to anyone who was waving. This went on for a few minuted while another student needed a bathroom break before getting started.
The teacher said a few words then turned it over to the other teacher to start the show. And wouldn't you know, Killian was standing front and center with a microphone right by he. Oh No!

As the program neared the end many kids were getting bored with performing. Killian started silently talking to someone in the crowd. The girl next to her, Grace, started twirling and eventually fell, another girl just walked off the stage to her parents and a boy just sat down and stared at the other kids.
I can not wait for more of these milestones!
Small disclaimer: during the following videos I often was laughing so hard that I completely lost the shot of Killian and filmed the lady in front of me. So sorry.
Waving to the audience.
You can see about 20 seconds in to the song Killian starts talking to someone
